Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC) provides services, training, technical assistance, and resources to students and professionals working with and for children. In doing so, we help promote professionalism and high-quality early care and education programs that benefit California’s children and families.

CDTC is no longer accepting Child Development Permit Stipend Applications for the 2023-2024 Program Year. Please check back after August 1, 2024 for the 2024-2025 Permit Application.

 

 Please review the following options to submit a Child Development Permit Application. 

 

 Option 1: Wait until CDTC Permit Stipend funds are available for 2024-2025 Permit Applications. 

 

 Check the CDTC website at www.childdevelopment.org; the website will announce when Permit Stipend funds are available and permit applications are being accepted. 

 

DO NOT resubmit a 2024-2024 Permit Application as is; you must print new 2024-2025 Permit Application forms when they are available after August 1, 2024.

 

 Option 2:  Submit your Permit Application directly to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. 

 

 You must pay the application fee and send all application documents to:

 When applying directly to CTC, please note that CDTC does not reimburse the permit applicant. For fee information and further instructions on how to submit a paper application, refer to www.ctc.ca.gov.

The Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC) is now offering virtual trainings on how to process and submit a Child Development Permit Stipend application.

We will be reviewing the Permit Matrix and the benefits of applying for a permit through CDTC. 

Registration spaces will be limited and is first come, first served. Additional information along with the registration link will be available on our CDTC website two weeks prior to each Permit training. For any questions, please reach out to us at CDTC-Permit@yosemite.edu.
